Oh Yeah! Penn Ward.

I think Nickelodeon (our exclusive network partner) is pretty happy with the storyboards we've been seeing for the upcoming season of Oh Yeah! Cartoons. It might be because the next generation of talents have been very present. Like Penn Ward.

Penn is a recent graduate of Cal Arts in Valencia, California, specializing in character animation. He also plays a mean guitar. His very original voice is evident in his cartoon storyboard called Adventure Time.

Thanks to Penn for his kind permission to post some frames from his storyboard.

Dear Fred,

Our son Lake is 11 and LOVES Adventure Time with Finn and Jake would really like to send some pictures he drew to Pendelton Ward. I realize this may be a strange request, but he keeps asking me if I have done it yet and I certainly can't fib and tell him I did:)

Is there and address we can mail them where he may eventually get to see them or maybe even if someone who is an artist there at Frederator can see them? He comes up with new characters all the time and he even wrote a note to Mr. Ward himself to tell him about the personality traits of each one.

I'm not sure who even needs to receive this request but I'm hoping if it isn't you that you could forward it to the proper person...I really appreciate it and I know he will too. When he was about 8 years old he drew some pictures and laminated them at school and made me mail them to Turner Broadcasting because they have a big Cartoon Network sign on the top of their building, but I merely sent them to the main address so I'm not sure where they ended up. We live north of Atlanta and every time we go downtown he says "Mom! Did you mail in my ideas to Pen Ward yet?" it's pretty funny.

Thank you so much!

Lake has a published book that he wrote and illustrated in 2nd grade called The Ninja Fish and he wants to include that in the mailing as well.
